SUPPORT - FOR FAMILIES, BY FAMILIES |
Welcome to the SUPPORT page of the PISD PTA – SAGE weblink! This page is designed to assist you in your efforts to begin or find a support group at your specific school campus or community. Support groups can be special-needs specific or generic and can include any diagnosis, challenge or need ranging from ADHD to severe disabilities to the gifted and talented. |
To begin a support group, download and print the SUPPORT GROUP REQUEST FORM and email to SAGE@planopta.org or fax to 972-378-9381. You will be contacted directly regarding your needs. To learn more about the purpose and guidelines of a support group, download and print the SUPPORT GROUP GUIDELINES document. If you wish to post an existing support group, please email your name, contact information, support group description (i.e. Autism, ADHD, special needs in general, gifted and talented, etc.), and campus location to SAGE@planopta.org. The Support Committee of SAGE is in the process of investigating a peer-mentoring program for all campuses in PISD. If you are currently involved in a peer-mentoring program, let us hear from you! |
